I’m Angela Yarborough, a mom, creative, encourager, and lover of Jesus. My heart beats for helping moms raise faith-filled daughters while embracing God’s healing love for themselves. As moms, we cannot pour out what we don’t have to give. That is why it is essential to understand God’s deep love for us and allow Him to speak into our sometimes wounded hearts and heal those broken places for good. I know this to be true because I have lived it for myself.

As a little girl, I faced battles meant to break me. Fear, trauma, and a distorted view of God shaped my early years. I believed He was distant—watching, waiting for me to fail. By 18, I was married. By 20, I was a mother of two beautiful daughters. Without knowing God’s true love, I unknowingly passed down my fears and struggles to my daughters.

But God wasn’t finished with my story.

After 18 years in an abusive marriage, I found the courage to leave. In the following years, Jesus pursued me, healed my heart, and rewrote my understanding of His love. He showed me that He is not a harsh ruler but a gentle lover full of grace, joy, and peace.

Now, as a wife again and a mother to another daughter, I get to live out the legacy of truth, freedom, and faith that I never had as a child. And the most beautiful part? God is still awakening the little girl’s heart inside of me, using my daughter to teach me just as I teach her.

This is why I write.

Here, I’ll share my journey—the lessons, the healing, and the everyday moments where God’s love meets motherhood. As He teaches me as His “Dearest Daughter”, I pour that same love into my “Dearest Daughter”. Together, we embrace faith, creativity, and the joy of childlike wonder.
